Pressurize Only Tools - These tools operate on emblems that have locating features integral to them. These tools act only to apply pressure to the emblem surface. They are not used for emblem location.

Friction Fit Locate and Apply - These tools hold, locate and apply hard emblems. This is the easiest type of emblem for an assembly plant to consistently apply to their product.

Vacuum Retained Locate and Apply - These tools utilize a vaccum source to hold onto an emblem face carrier paper. These tools are usually used on nameplates with "detached" letters.

Manual Style Locate Only - These tools are used to locate the emblem only. The operator must pressurize the emblem by other means, eg. hand roller.
